GENERAL DRIVER RULES & EXPECTATIONS
- Age Requirements
- Drivers must be 16 years of age or older
- Drivers under 18 must have a signed parental release
- Passengers (Riders)
- One rider is allowed
- Rider must be registered before the event and pay an additional entry fee
- Rider must follow ALL event rules
- Driver must remain the driver for the entire event
- Only the driver is eligible for payouts
- Driver is fully responsible for rider behavior on and off the track
- Pit Rules
- Unlimited pit personnel allowed
- ALL drivers, riders, and crew must attend pit meetings
- All disputes will be handled at the drivers’ meeting
- Anyone entering the pit area must:
- Sign entry & liability forms
- Pay pit entry fee
- NO EXCEPTIONS
- Authorized vehicles only in pits
- NO personal vehicles allowed
- 5 MPH speed limit in pits
- Hot rodding in pits = automatic disqualification
- Inspection
- Vehicles must report to tech immediately after entering pits
- ALL vehicles must be teched 30 minutes before showtime
- Failed inspection:
- Repairs allowed if time permits
- Must pass before first heat
- NO REFUNDS for failed inspection or refusal to comply
CAR ELIGIBILITY & ENGINE
- Vehicle Eligibility
- Front Wheel Drive: Maximum 112” wheelbase
- Rear Wheel Drive: Maximum 107” wheelbase
- 4-cylinder or V6 engines only
- Engine must be original to the vehicle
- Engine Rules
- Carburetor conversions allowed(NO PROTECTOR ALLOWED AT ALL)
- Simplified wiring harnesses allowed
- Headers allowed
- Header Protectors (STRICTLY LIMITED)
- Header protectors ARE allowed
- Must be bolted or welded ONLY to the header itself
- Header protector may NOT touch, connect to, or support:
- Engine
- Motor mounts
- Frame
- Cradle
- Cage
- Body
- Any other component
- If the protector supports the engine in ANY way, it is illegal
- Prohibited Engine Items
- NO cradles or lower cradles
- NO engine protectors (other than header protector above)
- NO carb protectors
BODY & INTERIOR PREPARATION⚠️ ABSOLUTELY NO PAINTING, UNDERCOATING, BUFFING, OR GRINDING OF FRAME OR BODY

👉 Cars violating this will NOT be inspected
- Interior Removal
- Remove ALL:
- Glass, mirrors, plastic
- Chrome and trim
- Turn signals
- Carpet, dash, headliner
- Rear seats and all flammable materials
- Vehicle must be completely swept clean
- Remove ALL:
- Hood Rules
- Hood must remain in 100% stock location
- Hood must open for inspection
- Minimum 12” fire access opening required
- Hood Fastening
- Maximum 6 fastening points total
- Two 1" all thread may be all-thread through the core support and frame. Please refer to "body mount section" for further clarification
- Remaining four (4) must be:
- Two strands of #9 wire OR
- Angle iron ONLY
- Size: 2” x 2” angle iron
- Thickness: 1/4” MAX
- Length: 3” MAX per piece
- One 3/8” bolt per piece
- NO welding of hood or hood hardware
- Trunk Fastening
- Trunk must be fastened using ONE (1) method only
- Six (6) fastening points TOTAL
- Six (6) pieces of angle iron used together
- Angle iron must be:
- 2” x 2” angle
- 1/4” MAX thickness
- 3” MAX length per piece
- One 3/8” bolt per piece
- All six pieces must be used together
- No mixing methods
- six(6) 2"x3" pieces of 1/8 flat steel welded
- six(6) spots between the truck and body or speaker deck. Can't connect to the frame or bumper at all
- Body Shaping
- Trunk lid allowed ONE 90-degree bend
- Rear quarters may be creased
- Fresh cars may notch/dimple rear frame rails for pre-bend
- NO sedagoning
- Doors
- Passenger doors:
- Maximum 12” of welding per vertical seam
- 3” x 1/8” strap only
- If a rider is present, doors may be welded solid
- Driver door:
- May be welded solid
- Door skin allowed up to 1/8” thick
- Skin may extend 3” past seams only
- Passenger doors:
BODY MOUNTS & FRAME
- Body Mounts
- Must remain factory and in original locations
- Broken mounts may be replaced with ONE piece of #9 wire only
- NO changing body bolts
- Front Body Mount Exception
- Two front mounts may be replaced with:
- 1” all-thread
- NO CORE SUPPORT SPACER
- Eight (8) 3” washers
- Four (4) nuts
- allowed 4x4 washer on top of frame
- Bottom nut and washer must be inside the frame
- Rod may extend through hood
- NO welding of any kind
- Spacer (if used):
- Maximum 4”
- NOT welded
- All-thread must remain visible
- Two front mounts may be replaced with:
- Rear All-Thread Allowance
- Two (2) pieces of 1” all-thread allowed
- Must run STRAIGHT through frame and STRAIGHT through trunk
- Maximum 6 nuts per rod
- Washers must be 3” x 3” ONLY
- ABSOLUTELY NO welding to all-thread, nuts, or washers
- Rear Body Mounts
- Must remain completely stock
- NO modification or reinforcement
CAGE & SAFETY
- Window Area
- Chain or #9 wire only
- Nothing welded to cowl or cage
- Must prevent hood intrusion into driver compartment
- Cage Construction
- 4-point square cage only
- Maximum length: 60”
- One 2x3 down tube per side to sheet metal only
- Side bars:
- Maximum 60” long
- Maximum 6” tall
- Must be 6” off floor
- Cage must be 6” off firewall
- HALO BAR IS MANDATORY
- Must attach to backseat bar and floor sheet metal
- Fuel Tank Protector (Optional but Recommended)
- Maximum 24” wide
- Must be 8” from roof, rear, and floor sheet metal
- Must be 4” in front of package tray
- May tie into halo bar in a straight line only
- Must be 8” off floor
- Must NOT strengthen car
ELECTRICAL & CONTROLS
- Battery
- Must be relocated to interior
- Must be secured and covered
- Must be at least 2” from firewall and cage
- Battery box may NOT attach to firewall or cage
- No "floor plates" allowed
- Airbags
- Must be disabled
- Controls
- Factory pedals, brakes, and steering column allowed OR
- Aftermarket column and pedals allowed:
- Must bolt through floor only
- Must be 2” off firewall
- Must NOT strengthen car
- Aftermarket shifter allowed but must NOT strengthen car
BUMPERS & BRACKETSBumper Options (Choose ONE)Option 1: Factory Automotive Bumper
- Must be a factory automotive bumper
- May be loaded INSIDE ONLY
- No external plating, shaping, points, or wedges
- May be used instead of a loaded factory bumper
- Maximum 4” point over a 32” span
- ABSOLUTE MAX HEIGHT: 6” — NO EXCEPTIONS
- NO added points, wedges, or sharpened edges
- ABSOLUTELY NO replica pointy bumpers
- If there is ANY question if it will pass, CALL BEFORE THE EVENT
- If it does not meet these guidelines, officials may require it to be loaded or replaced
- Approved examples:
- 1974 Chevy replica
- 1976 Chevy replica
- WCR replicas
- One 4” x 12” x 3/8” flat plate per side
- Plate must remain completely flat
- Welded ONLY to bumper and frame
- Side mounting ONLY
- NO welding on top or bottom
- NO seam welding
- NO protectors of any kind
SUSPENSION, DRIVETRAIN & TIRES
- Suspension
- Rear suspension must remain 100% stock
- NO reinforcing of any kind
- Factory-appearing struts only
- Up to 2” bolt-in strut spacer on top only
- NO welding strut towers
- Motor Mounts
- Solid top motor mounts allowed (bolt-in only)
- 2x2 material allowed for top mounts ONLY
- 2x2 motor mount material MAY NOT connect to each other in any way
- Lower mounts must remain stock
- Lower mount may be reinforced with ONE 4” x 2” x 1/4” flat plate on ONE side only
- Rear Wheel Drive Cars
- Rear end must be factory to vehicle
- Welded posi allowed
- Factory leaf or coil springs only
- One 3/8” chain per side for ride height only
- Driveshaft
- NO slider driveshafts
- Steering & Front End
- Stock steering components only
- Built struts allowed, must have factory bottoms from the car you're running.
- Tie rods may be reinforced, ends must remain stock
- Stock A-arms, wheel bearings, and ball joints ONLY
- Tires & Wheels
- Any tire allowed including solid forklift rears
- Full centers and valve stem protectors allowed
- NO additional wheel bracing
REPAIR PLATES
- Fresh/Pre-Run Cars may run:
- 6 (6) repair plates
- Size: 6” x 6” x 1/8”
- Plates must remain 6” x 6”
- Can't cut them and make them 12" long
- Can't measure more than 6" at the longest point
- Cutting a plate = losing the plate
- Plates may be bent or shaped
- Plates must be at least 1” apart including weld
- Maximum 1/2” weld
FINAL RULES
- NO protectors unless specifically allowed
- NO cradles or lower cradles
- All rust repair is AT OFFICIALS’ DISCRETION
- Everything else must remain factory for year, make, and model
